These Mitutoyo 500-196-30 Absolute Digimatic Calipers with exclusive Absolute encoder technology. The 0 to 6″ (0 to 150mm) range digital precision caliper is a highly accurate measuring instrument. It is enables with a new age electromagnetic inductive sensor that repels dirt, oil and water ensuring maximum accuracy. It has a function that starts the absolute-mode measurement without any zero-setting after it is switch on. The INC (incremental) measurement function enables the display value to set to zero, temporarily, at the current slider position to enable easy incremental-mode measurement. The original position of the caliper can set or reset with the origin switch at any time. It has advanced functions like low battery alarm indication and carbide-tipped jaw that makes it ideal for various applications like measurement of rough-machined workpieces, castings, and grindstones.
